MATT HART ist ein Industriekünstler – sowohl Musiker als auch DJ – aus London, UK. Er macht Musik seit er sich erinnern kann, er begann mit der Geige im Alter von 6 Jahren und wechselte ein paar Jahre später zur tiefen Bratsche…. Nach einem kurzen Zeitsprung schreibt und veröffentlicht er seine eigene Musik unter dem Namen MATT HART und legt als DJ in verschiedenen Londoner Clubs/Events auf (Departure, Slimelight, AntiChrist und sowohl Infest Festival als auch Resistanz Festival in Großbritannien, sowie internationale Clubs/Events wie das Aftermath Festival in Toronto, Kanada).

In seiner musikalischen Klangwelt werden Beats aus Industrial, Electronic/EBM und Metal miteinander vermischt – alles unter dem Titel Wastelands 3808 Man VS Machine – eine Erzählung, die auf einem Konzept des Jahres 3808 aufbaut, einer postapokalyptischen Welt, in der die letzten Überlebenden der Menschheit gegen die Maschinenherrschaft kämpfen. Sowohl die Musik als auch die Ästhetik stechen auf der Bühne hervor, und die Energie, die bei einem Live-Auftritt entsteht, ist herausragend. Es ist eine exquisite Mischung aus den alten Göttern des Industrial, den Legenden des harschen Elektro und den neuen Göttern des Dark Bass.

Seine erste Solo-Veröffentlichung war 2017, ANTHOLOGY OF CORROSION (eine Sammlung von Musik, an der er 10 Jahre lang gearbeitet hatte). Seitdem baut und veröffentlicht er regelmäßig mit verschiedenen EPs, dem Album TERRA 3808 (2019), Singles, Beiträgen zu Compilations und auch mehreren Remixen für prominente Szene-Künstler. Die im Oktober 2020 veröffentlichte Single TERRORFYING, die im Januar 2021 von dem mächtigen MOAAN EXIS geremixt wurde, war ein Branchenhit, der weltweit von Presse und DJs gleichermaßen beachtet wurde.
Während der Covid-Zeit (2020-2022), in der es keine Live-Gigs gab, konnte MATT durchgehend mehr eigene Musik kreieren und zusätzlich zu einigen Singles auch ein komplettes Remix-Album TALES OF TERRA & CHAOS RETOLD (19/07/2021) und die Singles TO THE CORE (15/11/2021) und DECIMATE (17/01/2022) vom zweiten Album BELOW THE TERRA PT.1 (15/03/2022) veröffentlichen. Jetzt erscheinen Remixe/Reworks für dieses Album, der erste ist ABSOLUTE ZERO – ROTERSAND CLASSIC RIDE REWORK (26/07/2022) und weitere werden folgen.

Zusätzlich (in Abwesenheit von Gigs während Covid) legte MATT weiterhin regelmäßig als DJ auf, mit einer wöchentlichen Show OUTLAW VISION auf TWITCH montags um 21 Uhr GMT/BST. Da seine Hauptleidenschaft für Musik Industrial/Hard-Electro-Sounds sind, konzentriert sich die Show auf diese Genres, taucht aber – wie die meisten – auch in verschiedene Sub-Genres ein.

Live hat MATT HART bereits mit Künstlern wie: SITD, Terrolokaust, Grendel, God Module, ESA, Das Ich, Agonize, Rotersand, Solitary Experiments, Funker Vogt, Straftanz, Empirion, iVardensphere, Stoppenberg, Sirus, Leaether Strip und vielen mehr.

MATT HART is an industrial artist – both musician and DJ, from London, UK and has been involved and creating music for as long as he can remember, starting with the violin at age 6, moving to the deeper viola a couple years later…. jump ahead a chunk of time and he found himself writing and releasing his own music under the same name, MATT HART and also DJing at various London UK clubs/events (Departure, Slimelight, AntiChrist and both Infest Festival and Resistanz Festival in the UK, plus international clubs/events like Aftermath Festival in Toronto, Canada).

Within his music soundscape, expect to hear beats of Industrial, Electronic/EBM, and Metal blended together – all under the of Wastelands 3808 Man VS Machine – a narrative built on a concept of the year 3808, a post-apocalyptic world where the last survivors of humanity fight against the machine overlords. Both the music and the aesthetic stand out on a stage and the energy brought to a live performance is outstanding. Blending an exquisite mix of the old gods of industrial, the legends of harsh electro and the new gods of dark bass.

His first solo music release was in 2017, ANTHOLOGY OF CORROSION (a collection of music which had been worked on for 10yrs). Since then, building and releasing regularly with various EPs, full length album TERRA 3808 (2019), singles, contributing to compilations and also several remixes for prominent scene artists. The Oct-2020 single release of TERRORFYING, then remixed by the mighty MOAAN EXIS Jan-2021 was an industry hit with attention across the globe from press and DJs alike.
With Covid-times (2020-2022), and there being no live gigs, MATT has been able to create more original music throughout and in addition to some singles, also released a full remix album TALES OF TERRA & CHAOS RETOLD (19/07/2021) and the singles TO THE CORE (15/11/2021) and DECIMATE (17/01/2022) from sophomore album BELOW THE TERRA PT.1 (15/03/2022). Additionally (in the absence of gigs during Covid) MATT continued DJing regularly, doing a weekly show OUTLAW VISION on TWITCH Monday’s 9pm GMT/BST. With his primary passion for music being industrial/hard electro sounds the show focuses on these genres, but like most – dips into various sub-genres too.
