Sleeping Well entern in dieser Formation seit Anfang 2013 mit Schminke, Spaß und Stromgitarren die Regionalen und űberregionalen Bühnen. Die Band mischt unterschiedlichste traditionelle Metalstile und würzt das ganze mit einer Priese Selbstironie indem sie natürlich auch das Spielen mit Szenetypischen Klischees nicht zu kurz kommen lassen. Sleeping Well nehmen euch mit auf eine Reise in ein Reich aus metallischen Klängen, erschaffen von donnernden Trommeln, mächtigem Bass, majestätischen Gitarren und vielseitigem Gesang.
Interview
Ich bin Muppet, Sänger und Lead-Gitarrist von Sleeping Well, einer Metal-Band aus Hannover. Schon als Kind hatte ich durch meinen älteren Bruder viel Kontakt mit Rock und Metal – er hat mir beigebracht, wie man Gitarre spielt. Jetzt spielen wir in einer Band. Ich schreibe den Großteil der Songs.
Die erste Idee ist meist ein Riff. Ich arbeite weitere Songteile aus, bis genug für ein Stück vorhanden ist. Die Songidee wird dann mit der ganzen Band ausgearbeitet, bis alles passt. Der Text ist oft erst der zweite oder dritte Schritt.
5 Fakten über mich:
Ich spiele nicht nur Gitarre, sondern auch Bass und ein wenig Schlagzeug Meine Wenigkeit ist großer Tolkien-Fan (Klischee, Klischee) Der wenig ruhmreiche Spitzname Muppet ist dem Umstand geschuldet, dass alle ursprünglichen Bandmitglieder einen (echten) Vornamen mit dem Anfangsbuchstaben „M“ hatten – außer mir. Kurzerhand hat man mir wegen meiner superschlechten Witze den Namen Muppet verpasst. Ich bin eher ein Hunde-Typ Beim ersten Sleeping Well Konzert habe ich tatsächlich noch Bass gespielt. Jetzt muss man mich an der Gitarre ertragen.
Was ich noch sagen möchte:
Kauft CDs, Vinyl und Merchandise eurer lokalen Bands, auch wenn ihr sonst gerne streamt – sonst verhungern wir! Spaß beiseite – wir sind für jeden Support dankbar und ohne euch wäre die ganze Mission nicht nur unmöglich sondern auch sinnlos! Vielen Dank und gute Nacht!
Ich bin Deuce Simmons, der Bassist von Sleeping Well aus Hannover. Schon von Kindesalter hatte ich durch meine beiden Großväter viel mit Musik zu tun: Einer hat Bechallungsequipment gewartet bzw auf Wunschauch gebaut. Der andere war im Musikmanagement tätig (beide natürlich nur nebenberuflich). So kam ich schon früh an eigene Instrumente. Meine ersten großen Vorbilder waren KISS und Prince, etwas später kamen dann noch die Scorpions, Iron Maiden und W.A.S.P dazu. Schon im Alter von 4 Jahren wollte ich wie Eric Carr Schlagzeug spielen und machte einfach nach was ich sah und hörte. Ein Jahr später durch Prince und Paul Stanley das wollte ich auch Gitarre spielen. Kurz darauf Bass wie Gene Simmons, Steve Harris oder Stanley Clarke. Die Ärzte und die erste allgemeine Verunsicherung haben mich auch sehr stark beeinflusst. Obwohl ich heute selbst Musiklehrer bin, habe ich selbst nie eine Unterrichtsstunde genossen und bin ein kompletter Autodidakt. Mein Bruder schreibt 99% unserer Musik ich steuere hin und wieder mal ein Riff, eine Melodie oder Textfragmente bei.
5 Fakten über mich:
1. Wie Captain Picard aus meiner absoluten Lieblings Serie Star Trek TNG trinke ich gerne Earl Grey Tee und brauche mindestens einen bevor man mich morgens ansprechen darf.
2. Ich verwende für fast jedes Gericht das ich zubereite Erdnussbutter, weil ich diese für die beste kulinarische Erfindung der Menschheitsgeschichte halte.
3. Ich bin mit großem Abstand der Älteste in unserer Kapelle, was mir die Spitznamen MIRACULIX und DORFDROIDE eingebracht hat.
4. Mein eigentlicher Spitzname ist seit meiner Kindheit ALF, warum, das wissen die Leute die mich kennen…
5. Meine Bühnenschminke sind kleine Ehrerbietungen and Prince, der neben Eric Carr mein großes musikalisches Idol ist, und David Bowie, den ich ebendfalls seit Kindheitstagen verehre.

Neo. 28 Jahre alt und seit 2013 in der Band. Komme ursprünglich aus dem Hard Rock und bringe die Einflüsse mit in die Band. Zumindest behaupte ich, dass
ich arbeite als Erzieher und liebe neben der Musik Handball und Kochen. Zur Musik gekommen, weil meine Eltern viel Musik gehört haben und mich das mitgerissen hat. Zusätzlich haben mich Freunde immer wieder inspiriert.
Mein erstes Drumkit waren Kissen und super heute Tupperdosen. Danke Mama fürs nicht erwürgen. Unsere Songs entstehen hauptsächlich durch unseren Sänger. Reihenfolge unbekannt ich trommel hier nur 
ne meistens erst die Melodie und ein fester Text erst später.

– die Musik ist ein Anker für mich. Auf der Bühne fühl ich mich zu Hause

Ich danke jedem einzelnen von euch. Ihr macht unsere Konzerte komplett und immer wieder genial. Ein Musiker ist ohne Fans meiner Meinung nach nur die Hälfte. Ich hoffe wir können uns bald wieder auf bzw vor der Bühne sehen. Stay Save

Sleeping Well enters in this formation since the beginning of 2013 with make-up, fun and electric guitars the regional and űberregional stages. The band mixes different traditional metal styles and spices the whole thing with a pinch of self-irony by playing with typical scene clichés. Sleeping Well will take you on a journey into a realm of metallic sounds, created by thundering drums, powerful bass, majestic guitars and versatile vocals.
Interview
I’m Muppet, singer and lead guitarist of Sleeping Well, a metal band from Hannover, Germany. Already as a child I had a lot of contact with rock and metal through my older brother – he taught me how to play guitar. Now we play in a band. I write most of the songs.
The first idea is usually a riff. I work out more song parts until there’s enough for a track. The song idea is then worked out with the whole band until everything fits. The lyrics are often only the second or third step.
5 Facts about me:
I play not only guitar, but also bass and a little bit of drums My humble self is a big Tolkien fan (cliché, cliché) The not very glorious nickname Muppet is due to the fact that all original band members had a (real) first name with the initial “M” – except me. Without further ado, I was given the name Muppet because of my super-bad jokes. I’m more of a dog guy At the first Sleeping Well concert I actually still played bass. Now they have to put up with me on guitar.
What else I want to say:
Buy CDs, vinyl and merchandise of your local bands, even if you otherwise like to stream – otherwise we’ll starve! Jokes aside – we are grateful for every support and without you the whole mission would not only be impossible but also pointless! Thanks a lot and good night!
I am Deuce Simmons, the bass player of Sleeping Well from Hannover. Since I was a child I had a lot to do with music through my two grandfathers: One of them maintained and built sound equipment. The other one worked in music management (both of course only part-time). That’s how I got my own instruments at an early age. My first big idols were KISS and Prince, a little later the Scorpions, Iron Maiden and W.A.S.P. came along. Already at the age of 4 I wanted to play drums like Eric Carr and simply copied what I saw and heard. A year later through Prince and Paul Stanley I also wanted to play guitar. Shortly after that bass like Gene Simmons, Steve Harris or Stanley Clarke. The doctors and the first general insecurity also influenced me a lot. Although I am a music teacher myself today, I have never enjoyed a lesson myself and am a complete self-taught musician. My brother writes 99% of our music I contribute now and then a riff, a melody or text fragments.
5 facts about me:
- like Captain Picard from my absolute favorite series Star Trek TNG, I like to drink Earl Grey tea and need at least one before you can talk to me in the morning.
2) I use peanut butter in almost every dish I make because I think it is the best culinary invention in human history. - I am by far the oldest in our chapel, which has earned me the nicknames MIRACULIX and DORFDROIDE.

- my stage make-up is a small tribute to Prince, who is my great musical idol along with Eric Carr, and David Bowie, whom I have also admired since childhood.

Neo. 28 years old and in the band since 2013. Originally come from hard rock and bring the influences to the band. At least I claim that I work as an educator and love handball and cooking besides music. Came to music because my parents listened to a lot of music and it pulled me along. In addition, friends have always inspired me.
My first drum kit was pillows and super today Tupperware. Thanks mom for not strangling me. Our songs are mainly created by our singer. Sequence unknown I drum here only ne mostly first the melody and a fixed text only later.
