FREAKY MIND sind zurück mit einer neuen Geheimwaffe in den Genres Dark Electro, Industrial und EBM! Selbstbewusst, düster, energiegeladen und den Nerv einer ganzen Generation treffend: Das Dark-Electro-Duo überzeugt mit fetten Beats, schneidenden Synthies und kraftvollen Vocal-Parts und schafft einen einzigartigen Soundtrack, der jeden zum Stampfen und Tanzen bringt!

Die meisten Alben fangen mit einem Intro oder eher ruhigerem Song an, aber nicht bei Freaky Mind.
Direkt zu Beginn wird praktisch dazu eingeladen, die Boxen lauter zu drehen und das Tanzbein zu schwingen. Der erste Song ist wie bei einem Buch der erste Satz und somit entscheidend, ob man eher Lust hat, weiter zu hören, oder nicht. Mit “Get Undressed” gelingt es Freaky Mind den Hörer direkt in den Genuss zu bringen und regelrecht mehr davon zu hören zu wollen.

Nun kommt aber ein viel wichtigerer Faktor: und zwar nicht zu enttäuschen. Ist der Start gelungen, heißt es das Level zu halten oder besten Falls zu toppen. Im schlimmsten Fall, gefällt der Start, aber der Rest ist weniger überzeugend.

Freaky Mind schafft es mit diesem Album allerdings einen wirklich spannenden musikalischen Faden zu kreieren. Elektrisierend, förmlich dazu animierend zu tanzen oder sich völlig hingeben zu wollen.
Aber auch ruhigere Töne, mit düsterem Sound, fast schon melancholisch, sorgen für Abwechslung.
Ruhig bedeutet nämlich bei Freaky Mind nicht langweilig, hier legen sie viel Wert auf starke und vor allem eindringliche Melodien. Melodien, die förmlich dazu geschaffen sind, im Kopf hängenzubleiben.

Mein absoluter Lieblingssong auf dem Album ist Patterns. Für mich wirklich das Highlight auf diesem Album. Ein eher ruhigeres Stück, dennoch mit viel Energie. Aber das Grandiose an diesem Stück ist einfach die eindringliche Melodie, die einfach nicht mehr aus dem Kopf geht.
Außerdem lädt es dazu ein, einfach hemmungslos mitzusingen. Patterns gehört vor allem zu den Liedern, die regelrecht in Dauerschleife gespielt werden können, ohne jemals langweilig zu werden.

Alles in allem ist es ein wirklich grandioses Album geworden, mit allem, was das musikalische Herz benötigt.

FREAKY MIND are back with a new secret weapon in the Dark Electro, Industrial and EBM genres! Confident, dark, energetic and hitting the nerves of a whole generation: this dark electro duo convince the audience with fat beats, cutting synths and powerful vocal parts and creates an unique soundtrack that will make everybody stomp and dance!

Most albums start with an intro or a rather quiet song, but not with Freaky Mind.
Right at the beginning there is practically an invitation to turn up the speakers and shake a leg. The first song is like in a book the first sentence and therefore decisive, whether you rather feel like listening further or not. With “Get Undressed” Freaky Mind succeeds in bringing the listener directly into the pleasure and downright wanting to hear more of it.

But now comes a much more important factor: and that is not to disappoint. If the start is successful, it is important to keep the level or at best to top it. In the worst case, the start pleases, but the rest is less convincing.

Freaky Mind, however, manages to create a really exciting musical thread with this album. Electrifying, literally encouraging you to dance or surrender completely.
But also quieter tones, with gloomy sound, almost melancholic, provide variety.
Calm does not mean boring with Freaky Mind, here they put a lot of emphasis on strong and especially haunting melodies. Melodies that are literally made to stick in your head.

My absolute favorite song on the album is Patterns. For me really the highlight on this album. A rather quiet piece, yet with a lot of energy. But the grandiose thing about this piece is simply the haunting melody that just can’t get out of your head.
In addition, it invites one to simply sing along without restraint. Above all, Patterns is one of those songs that can be played in a continuous loop without ever getting boring.

All in all, it has become a truly magnificent album, with everything the musical heart needs.
