Wir sind Manntra und wir spielen laut 😉

Wann und wie bist du zur Musik gekommen?

Ich persönlich glaube, es war im Alter von 15 Jahren. Ich wollte ein Schlagzeuger werden, aber sie waren teuer und groß zu lagern. Außerdem gab es immer das Problem, dass es ein lautes Instrument ist. Die Gitarre war anfangs schwierig (sie hatte 6 Saiten), also bin ich auf ein Instrument mit weniger Saiten umgestiegen… Der Bass. Von da an begann ich zu experimentieren, Musik zu schreiben und auf immer mehr Instrumenten aufzutreten.

Wie entsteht ein Song? Erst die Melodie, dann der Text?

Das kommt darauf an, aber meistens ist es ein Haken. Es kommt etwas Eingängiges und wir bauen darauf auf.

Introduce yourself briefly

We are Manntra and we play loud 😉

When and how did you get into music?

Me personally I think it was at the age of 15. I wanted to be a drummer but they were expensive and big to store. Also there was always the problem of being a loud instrument. The guitar was at first difficult (it had 6 strings) so I jumped on a less stringed instrument… The Bass. From then on I started to experiment, write music and perform on more and more instruments

How is a song created? First the melody, then the lyrics?

It depends, but most of the time it is a hook. Something catchy comes and we build around it

Five facts about you

I like mountains, I like the sea, I play beach volley. I am addicted to various sport activities daily,
I am a nerd, I like good food and like to eat local.

What else would you like to say to your fans?

They are the best! They should never change 🙂
