Review: Synapsyche – Anti

Das 4. Studioalbum von SYNAPSYCHE, “Anti”, nimmt Sie mit auf eine intensive Reise durch 12 Tracks mit melodischem, dunklem Elektro-/Industrial-Pop. Diese konzeptionelle Veröffentlichung befasst sich mit der rebellischen Odyssee eines im 21. Jahrhundert geborenen Messias, der vom Weg Jesu Christi abweicht. Jeder Song hat eine doppelte Bedeutung und berührt provokante Themen wie Euthanasie, Verrat, Ehebruch, Feminismus, den Untergang der Liebe und Okkultismus à la Lavey/Crowley.

Gekonnt führt das italienische Duo den Hörer durch eine blasphemische Klangerfahrung und erzählt die unkonventionelle Saga ihres “Anti”-Helden. Von der euphorischen synthetischen Erschaffung eines neuen Messias in einer Welt, die im Chaos versinkt und nach Orientierung sucht, über die Versuchungen des Todes und des Aufstiegs, über Wunder und Leidenschaft bis hin zum Abstieg ins erbärmliche Elend.

Nach einem kurzen, aber sehr vielversprechenden und mystischem Intro geht es mit voller Wucht weiter. Synapsyche legt direkt los und lässt keine Zeit zum Warten. Mit “God In Vitro” werden die Boxen direkt zum Glühen gebracht. Schwingt das Tanzbein, dreht einfach mal frei oder gebt beim Sport richtig Gas, dieses Stück lädt absolut dazu ein!

Und es geht rhythmisch weiter mit “Silvertongue”ft. Aesthetic Perfection. Ein Lied welches direkt ins Ohr geht und absolut Spaß macht zu hören. Was für ein absolut geiles Stück! gefällt mir einfach wahnsinnig gut, weil es einen Erkennungswert hat und sich sofort in den Gehörgang pflanzt.

Spätestens jetzt wird klar, dieses Album will die Tanzfläche brennen sehen. Es geht mit voller Fahrt weiter, keine Zeit zum Ausruhen. Am besten klingt dieses Stück voll aufgedreht, denn es bietet richtig WUMS!
Ich bin absolut begeistert (mich hat das Album JETZT schon überzeugt!).
Das Teil brennt sich durch die Boxen, irre!!!

Ich bin geflasht! “Ladysinner” wird euch vom Stuhl fegen!!! Was für ein BRETT!!
Ich bin grad völlig überfordert von so viel Energie und das hier ein Song nach dem anderen einen raushaut.

Selten, wirklich Selten hat mich ein Album sooooo geflasht!! Wenn ihr mich sehen könntet, ich bin ein Mix aus hüpfender Grinsebacke, die hier alles herumwirbelt. Dieses Album macht so viel Spaß.
Ich bin grade mehr als froh, dass ich Synapsyche durch meinen Blog entdeckt habe. Für mich eine absolute Bereicherung und gehört auf die Tanzflächen & Bühnen dieser Welt!

“The Last Dying Flame” ft. Chris Harms ist ein etwas ruhigeres Stück, wenn man das so sagen kann, denn es ist passend zum Thema, mit viel Energie bestückt. Das Lied versucht, die unvermeidliche Realität auszudrücken, dass trotz der Bemühungen einige Liebesgeschichten einfach verschwinden und unabhängig von unseren Absichten ihr Ende erreichen. Ein unheimlich starkes Stück!

Mit “Psyche Ascending” geht das Album ruhig, aber mit einem Ausrufezeichen zu Ende.

Fazit
Ich bin ehrlich gesagt komplett geflasht! Was ist das bitte für ein geiles Album???!
Das hat mich komplett weggefegt, mich mit Glückseligkeit gefüllt und zu einem hüpfenden Wirbelwind verwandelt. Das hat richtig Spaß gemacht! Ich liebe es und wird hier noch sehr lange in Dauerschleife laufen. Dieses Album verströmt eine wahnsinnige Energie, die unbeschreiblich ist.
Mit jedem Titel hat sich Synapsyche selbst übertroffen. Am Ende herrscht überwältigende Begeisterung!

SYNAPSYCHE’s 4th studio album, “Anti”, takes you on an intense journey through 12 tracks of melodic, dark electro/industrial pop. This conceptual release deals with the rebellious odyssey of a messiah born in the 21st century who strays from the path of Jesus Christ. Each song has a double meaning and touches on provocative topics such as euthanasia, betrayal, adultery, feminism, the downfall of love and occultism à la Lavey/Crowley.

The Italian duo skillfully guides the listener through a blasphemous sound experience and tells the unconventional saga of their “anti” hero. From the euphoric synthetic creation of a new messiah in a world sinking into chaos and searching for direction, through the temptations of death and ascension, miracles and passion, to the descent into abject misery.

After a short but very promising and mystical intro, the album continues with full force. Synapsyche kick off straight away and leave no time to wait. With “God In Vitro”, the speakers are immediately set alight. Shake a leg, just spin freely or really step on the gas during sport, this track is absolutely inviting!

And it continues rhythmically with “Silvertongue” ft. Aesthetic Perfection. A song that goes straight to the ear and is absolutely fun to listen to. What an absolutely awesome track! I just love it so much because it has a recognizable value and immediately gets stuck in your ear canal.

By now it’s clear that this album wants to see the dance floor on fire. It continues at full speed, no time to rest. This track sounds best when turned up all the way, because it’s really WUMS!
I am absolutely thrilled (the album has already convinced me NOW!).
This thing burns through the speakers, crazy!!!

Rarely, really rarely has an album flashed me sooooo much!!! If you could see me, I’d be a mix of bouncing grinch and whirling everything around. This album is so much fun.
I’m just more than happy that I discovered Synapsyche through my blog. An absolute enrichment for me and belongs on the dance floors & stages of this world!

“The Last Dying Flame” ft. Chris Harms is a somewhat calmer track, if you can call it that, because it is appropriately energetic. The song attempts to express the inevitable reality that despite our best efforts, some love stories simply disappear and reach their end regardless of our intentions. An incredibly powerful piece!

With “Psyche Ascending”, the album ends quietly, but with an exclamation mark.

To be honest, I’m completely blown away! What kind of awesome album is this???!
It completely blew me away, filled me with bliss and turned me into a bouncing whirlwind. It was so much fun! I love it and it’s going to be on repeat here for a very long time. This album exudes an insane energy that is indescribable.
Synapsyche have outdone themselves with every track. At the end there is overwhelming enthusiasm!
