Hallo Jan, Danke, dass du dir für mich Zeit nimmst! Ich freue mich sehr. Stelle dich doch und dein Projekt kurz vor.

Jan

Ich bin der Jan, 22 Jahre alt und komme aus dem Ruhrgebiet. Ich mache alleine das Projekt Antibody, mit dem ich eher harte Industrial-Techno Musik mache. Hab auch schon 2 Alben damit veröffentlicht sowie diverse Singles und EP’s. Konzerttechnisch waren bisher die Highlights das Resistanz Festival in Sheffield oder das Hellsinki Industrial Fest.

Wie bist du dazu gekommen, selbst Musik zu machen?

Jan

Ein Kollege hat mir in der Schule Bands wie X-rx oder Centhron gezeigt. Die Musik hab ich sofort gefeiert und hab mir immer mehr Szene Bands angehört. Ein anderer Schulkollege hat mir dann Fl Studio gezeigt und hab dann so mit 12/13 angefangen meine ersten Industrial songs zu machen… die eher weniger gut waren

Jeder Anfang ist schwer. Wie ist es heute für dich, wenn du reflektierst und nun deine eigenen Auftritte hast?

Jan

Extrem krass. Als ich angefangen habe hab ich immer so Resistanz aftermovies geguckt und geträumt davon da mal auf der hauptbühne zu spielen… und das hab ich dieses jahr geschafft. Ich hätte auch nie gedacht mal Nachtmahr oder Centhron kennenzulernen und Kollegen nennen zu dürfen… oder mal in Helsinki zu spielen. Mal schauen was die Zukunft noch so bringt

01. Ich hab jahrelang nackt Fußball gespielt
02. Mein septum ist mit einer sicherheitsnadel gestochen worden
03. Ich bin hauptberuflich Erzieher
04. Ich habe noch ein nebenprojekt namens gen-zx
05. Meinen allerersten live Auftritt hatte ich direkt beim Resistanz

Außerdem ist das Album fertig und wartet quasi auf ein Release 🙂

I am Jan, 22 years old and come from the Ruhr area. I make alone the project Antibody, with which I make rather hard industrial techno music. I have already released 2 albums with it as well as several singles and EP’s. Concert highlights so far have been the Resistanz Festival in Sheffield or the Hellsinki Industrial Fest.

How did you come to make music yourself?

Jan

A colleague showed me bands like X-rx or Centhron at school. I immediately loved the music and started listening to more and more scene bands. Another classmate showed me Fl Studio and I started to make my first industrial songs at the age of 12/13… which weren’t very good.

Jenni

Every beginning is hard. How is it for you today when you reflect and now have your own gigs?

Jan

Extremely cool. When I started I always watched Resistanz aftermovies and dreamed of playing on the main stage… and i made it this year. I also never thought I would meet Nachtmahr or Centhron and be allowed to call them colleagues… or play in Helsinki. Let’s see what the future brings
