Was bedeutet FGFC820?
Wir haben nie verraten, wofür der Name steht, aber im Laufe der Jahre haben sich unsere Fans “For God, For Country” ausgedacht. Um ehrlich zu sein, ist das viel besser als die eigentliche Bedeutung.
Wann und wie bist du zur Musik gekommen?
Ich kann mich daran erinnern, dass Musik schon in meiner Kindheit einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen einnahm. Ich habe 1987 beim College-Radio mit dem Auflegen begonnen und lege seitdem immer wieder auf. DJing ist wirklich meine erste Liebe und ich bin dankbar, dass ich die Chance bekommen habe, viele Male in Deutschland bei Dark Flower und WGT aufzulegen.
Wie entsteht ein Song? Erst die Melodie, dann der Text?
Normalerweise hat Dracos eine Idee für eine Strophe oder eine Refrain-Melodie, und dann forme ich die Kadenz und den Vortrag des Gesangs um diese herum. Manchmal kommt die Inspiration auch von woanders her, und wir konstruieren etwas um diese Idee herum.

Rexx Arkana, DJ, husband and father from NYC.
What does FGFC820 mean ?
We’ve never revealed what the name stands for, but over the years our fans have come up with “For God, For Country.” To be honest, that’s much better than the actual meaning.
When and how did you get into music?
I can remember music occupying a special place in my heart from as young as childhood. I first began DJing at college radio in 1987 and have been spinning ever since. DJing is really my first love and I’m grateful to have gotten the chance to spin many times in Germany at Dark Flower and WGT.
How is a song created? First the melody, then the lyrics?
Typically, Dracos will have an idea for a verse or chorus melody and then I’ll mold the cadence and delivery of the vocals around that. Sometimes, inspiration will come from elsewhere and we’ll construct something around that idea.
