Stellt euch kurz vor

Wir sind PALESKIN aus Schweden. Wir sind eine 3-köpfige Band bestehend aus Casper Frisk am Gesang, Jimmy Fransen an der Gitarre und Adrian Bellan am Schlagzeug.

Wann und wie seid ihr zur Musik gekommen?

Wir haben alle in einem ziemlich jungen Alter mit Musik angefangen. Alle Mitglieder haben Schulen mit irgendeinem Musikprogramm besucht, Jimmy und Casper gingen auf das gleiche Gymnasium in Helsingborg und haben sich dort kennengelernt.

Wie entsteht ein Song? Erst die Melodie, dann der Text?

Wir beginnen unseren Schreibprozess normalerweise damit, dass Adrian zu Hause eine Idee entwickelt oder Casper oder Jimmy eine Idee auf der Gitarre aufnehmen und sie dann an Adrian schicken. Casper schreibt dann den Text und wir beginnen mit den Aufnahmen. Wenn wir eine fertige Idee haben, beginnen wir mit dem Abmischen, bis sich der Song fertig anfühlt!

Was bedeutet Musik für euch?

Für uns bedeutet Musik alles. Alles, was wir im Leben tun, hat mit Musik zu tun, und dass wir als Freunde zusammen Musik machen können, ist für uns nicht selbstverständlich. Unser Ziel ist es, Musik zu machen, die anderen Menschen hilft, so wie sie uns durch schwere Zeiten geholfen hat.

Fünf Fakten über uns:

• Jedes Mal, wenn wir eine Session haben, gehen wir mitten in der Nacht zu einer speziellen Tankstelle und kaufen Snacks.
• Jimmy hat noch nie ein Spiel im Armdrücken verloren.
• Casper hat eine Katze namens “Nils”, die immer Geräusche macht, wenn wir aufnehmen. Manchmal müssen wir Sachen neu aufnehmen, weil er auf der Couch durchdreht.
• Alle Songs, die wir machen, nehmen wir in Caspers Wohnzimmer auf.
• Adrian hat noch nie einen Star Wars-Film gesehen.

Was möchtet ihr euren Fans noch sagen?

Wir sind super dankbar für alles, was wir bisher mit der Band erreicht haben und auch für jeden, der unsere Musik hört und ein Teil des PALESKIN-Prozesses ist.

Wir arbeiten derzeit an einem Album, das hoffentlich Anfang nächsten Jahres erscheinen wird. Wir haben auch ein paar weitere aufregende Neuigkeiten für die Fans in Schweden, die noch nicht offiziell sind, es aber bald sein werden!

Introduce yourself briefly / Band introduction

We are PALESKIN from Sweden. We are a 3 piece band consisting Casper Frisk on vocals, Jimmy Fransen on guitar and Adrian Bellan on Drums.

When and how did you get into music?

We all started with music in some way in a pretty young age. All the members have been studying schools with some kind of music program, Jimmy and Casper went to the same high school in Helsingborg and that’s where they got to know each other.

How is a song created? First the melody, then the lyrics?

We usually start our writing process by Adrian doing an idea at home or Casper or Jimmy record an idea on the guitar and then sending it to Adrian. Casper then writes the lyrics and we start to record. When we have a finished idea we start the mixing process until the song feels done!

What does music mean to you?

To us music means everything. Everything we do in life music has a part of it and to be able to make music together as friends is something we don’t take for granted. Our goal is to make music that help people in the same way music has helped us through tough times.

Five facts about us:

• Every time we have a session we go to a special gas station in the middle of the night and buy snacks.
• Jimmy has never lost a game in arm wresteling
• Casper have a cat called “Nils” and he always make noises every time we record. Sometimes we have to re record stuff because he goes berserk on the couch.
• All songs we make are recorded in Casper’s living room.
• Adrian have never seen a Star Wars movie.

What else would you like to say to your fans?

We are super grateful for everything that we have accomplished so far with the band and also to everyone who listen to our music and are a part of the PALESKIN process.

We are currently working on an album that hopefully will be released early next year. We also have a few more exciting news for the fans in Sweden that are not official yet but will be soon!
