Mein Name ist Matteo Seduta, ich habe Blue Ant im Jahr 2019 gegründet und bin seither wie neugeboren.

Wann und wie bist du zur Musik gekommen?

Musik war schon immer meine größte Leidenschaft, ich habe im Alter von 14 Jahren angefangen, Gitarrenunterricht zu nehmen. Alles begann in einem Sommer auf einer Strandparty, ein Freund von mir spielte Gitarre und ich war fasziniert von seiner Leidenschaft für dieses Musikinstrument. Ich beschloss, Gitarrenunterricht zu nehmen und in die Welt der Musik einzutauchen. Ich fing an, Coverversionen von Rock-, Metal-, Punk-, New Wave- und Elektrobands zu hören, zu spielen und zu singen. Später begann ich, meine ersten Songs zu komponieren, ich liebte es, Klänge zu kreieren, ich fühlte mich frei.

Im Alter von 17 Jahren fing ich an, EBM- und Industrial-Bands zu hören, ich verliebte mich in sie, ich spürte, dass dieser Sound zu mir gehörte und mich mehr als alle anderen bewegte. Ich fing an, elektronische Musik mit Fruity Loops zu komponieren, und wusste, dass das meine Welt war.

Wie entsteht ein Song? Erst die Melodie, dann der Text?

Wenn ich Songs für Blue Ant kreiere, fange ich immer mit der Melodie an. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich mich zu 100% ausdrücken kann und setze mir keine Grenzen, das Kreieren von Melodien ist der Teil, der mir am meisten Spaß macht. Ich lege großen Wert auf die Texte, ich mache mir zu jeder Tageszeit Notizen, Überlegungen und Konzepte von großen literarischen Autoren, Dichtern, Humanisten und Esoterikern.

Ich liebe es, Texte zu schreiben, es sind Themen, die mich tief berühren, ich schreibe einen Text nicht nur, um Leerstellen zu füllen. Ich bin mir bewusst, dass ich durch meine Musik komplexe Botschaften vermitteln kann.

Introduce yourself briefly

My name is Matteo Seduta, I founded Blue Ant in 2019 and I have been reborn ever since.

When and how did you get into music?

Music has always been my greatest passion, I started taking guitar lessons at the age of 14. It all started one summer at a beach party, a friend of mine played the guitar and I was fascinated by his passion for that musical instrument. I decided to take guitar lessons and immerse myself in the world of music. I started listening, playing and singing covers of rock, metal, punk, new wave and electro bands. Later I started composing my first songs, I loved being able to create sounds, I felt free.

At the age of 17 I started listening to EBM and industrial bands, I fell in love with them, I felt that that sound belonged to me and moved me more than anyone else. I started composing electronic music with Fruity Loops, I knew that was my world.

How is a song created? First the melody, then the lyrics?

When I create songs for Blue Ant I always start with melodies, I feel I can express myself 100% and I don’t set myself limits, creating melodies is the part that enjoys me the most. I attach great importance to the lyrics, I take notes at any time of the day, reflections and concepts from great literary authors, poets, humanists and esotericism.

I love writing lyrics, they are themes that touch me deeply, I don’t write a text just to fill in the empty spaces. I am aware that I can communicate complex messages through my music.

My fans are the most important thing I have, they give me the strength to continue, when I create music I think of them and I hope I never disappoint them.
