Review: Intent:Outtake – Der stille Tod

Vier Jahre ist nun her, dass Bastian & Andreas von Intent:Outtake ein Album herausgebracht haben.
Das Duo ist ein Garant für elektronisch starke Klänge und vor allem mit klaren und schonungslosen Messages, perfekt verpackt. Musik, die zum Nachdenken anregen soll.

Ein kleiner Hinweis: Wer die Fanbox ergattert hat, besitzt auch das ausgesprochen toll ausgearbeitete Booklet. In diesem Booklet gibt es zu jedem Lied Anmerkungen bzw. Gedanken von Andreas & Basti

Mutig und unheimlich startet das Album “Der stille Tod”. Es startet nämlich nahezu still, geschmückt mit dunklen und fast mystischen Tönen. Nahezu spannend und erwartend lädt dieses kleine Intro zum Warten ein. Definitiv ist hier ein super spannendes Intro gelungen! Manchmal ist weniger eben mehr!

Mit “Moloch” geht es dann ohne Umschweife weiter. Wer das Duo schon kennt, hört die vertrauten Klänge und Töne, die einfach diese Band ausmachen. Ein toller Einstieg und ein Lied, welches einen direkt einfängt und auch irgendwie aufzeigt, wohin die Reise geht. Lässt man sich auf diese Ebene ein, ist es mehr als nur, dieses Album zu hören, Lied für Lied abzuspielen. Es ist viel mehr eine Reise mit vielen Gedanken, Erkenntnissen, Fragen und vielem mehr…

Ich selbst kann mich sehr mit der Band und wie sie denken, identifizieren. Und es ist schön dort abgeholt zu werden, weil irgendwann der Gedanke kommt: Bin ich damit alleine? Anscheinend nicht.
“Tabula Rasa” braucht man an dieser Stelle weder erklären noch erläutern.
Alleine der Titel besagt alles, Tabula Rasa bedeutet unbeirrt Ordnung, klare Verhältnisse schaffen oder Klarheit herbeiführen.

Die Reise durch das Album “Der stille Tod” ist definitiv alles andere als still.
Das Duo sendet eine ganz klare Message, mit lauten und wirklich absoluten starken Liedern. Liedern die Tanzflächen füllen werden, die direkt einladen sich hinzugeben. Aber auch ruhigere Stücke wie “No Regrets”. Ruhig bedeutet dabei nicht, dass sie nicht kraftvoll sind. Ganz im Gegenteil.
Basti & Andreas verstehen das ruhige und das kraftvolle zu vereinen.

Mein absolutes Highlight ist das Stück “Gott:innen”. Was bitte ist das für ein geiles Brett????
Erstmal thematisch komplett auf den Punkt gebracht! Und damit lehnen die Beiden sich ziemlich gewagt aus dem Fenster. Ich finde es ziemlich gut, denn ich unterstreiche das mehr als nur!
Aber ich bin gerade ziemlich geflasht, was für ein Abriss! Hinterlässt mich ganz sprachlos und gehört definitiv auf jede Playliste in den Club’s!

Diesmal gibt es auch für alle, die noch nicht genug haben eine 2. CD mit weiteren insgesamt sechs Liedern, davon sind noch drei Stück von Intent:Outtake selbst.

Fazit

Hier wartet den Hörer ein absolut abwechslungsreiches und durchdachtes Album.
Ein Album, welches zum Tanzen, aber auch zum Nachdenken anregt.
Es war wirklich mehr als ein Genuss, dieses Album anzuhören!

Am Ende stellt sich die Frage, wie still der Tod mit diesem Album wirklich ist?
Eins ist definitiv klar, wenn man das Duo gut kennt:
Wir töten die Stille!

It’s been four years since Bastian & Andreas from Intent:Outtake released an album.
The duo is a guarantor for electronically strong sounds and especially with clear and relentless messages, perfectly packaged. Music that is meant to make you think.

A small hint: Who got hold of the fan box, also owns the extremely great elaborated booklet. In this booklet there are notes and thoughts from Andreas & Basti for each song.

Courageously and eerily the album “Der stille Tod” starts. It starts namely almost quiet, decorated with dark and almost mystical sounds. Almost exciting and expecting this little intro invites you to wait. Definitely a super exciting intro has succeeded here! Sometimes less is more!

With “Moloch” it goes on without further ado. Who already knows the duo, hears the familiar sounds and tones that simply make this band. A great start and a song that catches you directly and also somehow shows where the journey goes. If you get involved on this level, it is more than just listening to this album, playing song after song. It’s much more a journey with many thoughts, insights, questions and much more….

I myself can identify very much with the band and how they think. And it’s nice to be picked up there, because at some point the thought comes: am I alone in this? Apparently not.
“Tabula Rasa” needs neither explanation nor explanation at this point.
The title alone says it all, Tabula Rasa means unflinching order, creating clear conditions or bringing about clarity.

The journey through the album “Der stille Tod” is definitely anything but quiet.
The duo sends a very clear message, with loud and really absolute strong songs. Songs that will fill dance floors, that directly invite you to surrender. But also quieter songs like “No Regrets”. Quiet does not mean that they are not powerful. Quite the opposite.
Basti & Andreas know how to unite the quiet and the powerful.

My absolute highlight is the piece “Gott:innen”. What please is that for a horny board????
First of all thematically completely to the point! And with it the two lean quite daringly out of the window. I think it’s pretty good, because I more than underline that!
But I’m just pretty flashed, what a demolition! Leaves me quite speechless and definitely belongs on every playlist in the clubs!

This time there’s also a 2nd CD for those who haven’t had enough yet with another total of six songs, three of which are still from Intent:Outtake themselves.
